Board of Elec­tions of­fice adds hours

Ul­ster County Elec­tion Com­mis­sion­ers Thomas Turco and Vic­tor Work have an­nounced there will be ex­tended of­fice hours for vot­ers who need to ap­ply for an ab­sen­tee bal­lot for the Nov. 8 elec­tion.

The of­fice, at 284 Wall St., Kingston, will have its ex­tra hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26; 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 29; 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and 3; and 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 5.

The of­fice’s reg­u­lar hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. week­days.

Mailed ap­pli­ca­tions for ab­sen­tee bal­lots must be post­marked by Nov. 1, but they can be de­liv­ered in per­son to the elec­tions of­fice through Nov. 7.
