Board of Elections office adds hours
Ulster County Election Commissioners Thomas Turco and Victor Work have announced there will be extended office hours for voters who need to apply for an absentee ballot for the Nov. 8 election.
The office, at 284 Wall St., Kingston, will have its extra hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26; 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 29; 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and 3; and 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 5.
The office’s regular hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Mailed applications for absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 1, but they can be delivered in person to the elections office through Nov. 7.
