TOWN OF ULSTER >> Ulster BOCES Literacy Zone and Ulster Works Career Center are hosting a free Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Business Resource Center, 651 Development Court.

The fair is designed to help those looking to re-enter the workforce, explore career-training opportunities and/or advance their careers.

Job seekers will have the chance to meet with more than 25 prospective employers in the culinary, healthcare and hospitality fields. Some of the businesses include the Hampton Inn, Sam’s Club, Hardee’s, ShopRite, Woodland Pond at New Paltz, The Arc of Ulster-Greene and HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley.

Organizers say there are plenty of full- and part-time positions available. Attendees should bring a current résumé, dress professionally and be prepared to network with employers. Job counselors will be available to discuss potential funding for training.

For more information, call (845) 331-5050, ext. 2225.
