Bank will host Elec­tronic Re­cy­cling events

LAKE KA­TRINE >> Ul­ster Sav­ings Bank will hold Elec­tronic Re­cy­cling events on Satur­day, Oct. 29, at their branches on Ul­ster Av­enue and on U.S. Route 9 in Wap­pingers Falls.

The events will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In part­ner­ship with eLot, Ul­ster Sav­ings will ac­cept com­puter tow­ers; lap­tops; servers; pe­riph­er­als such as key­boards, mice, speak­ers, wires and cords; mon­i­tors; print­ers, scan­ners and fax ma­chines; copiers; routers, switches and hubs; cel­lu­lar phones and pagers; tele­phones; tele­com equip­ment; PDAs and palm pi­lots; cam­eras; mi­crowaves; au­dio and video equip­ment like VCRs, DVD play­ers, stereos and turnta­bles; un­in­ter­rupt­able power sup­ply; and tele­vi­sions.

Elec­tronic re­cy­cling is free for Ul­ster Sav­ings cus­tomers. Most items are free for non-cus­tomers, ex­cept tele­vi­sions, which have a $10 charge and are lim­ited to one per house­hold. The fee is waived for peo­ple open­ing a per­sonal check­ing ac­count.
