Ladislaus J. Tomaszewski, 94, of Kingston
Ladislaus J. Tomaszewski, 94, of Navara Street, Kingston died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Broadway Campus.
Born April 23, 1922 in Kingston; he is the son of the late Henry and Valeria (Fortuna) Tomaszewski.
Ladislaus served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a first class electrician for Central Hudson and was a member of the IBEW Local 320 and Life Member Joyce-Schirick Post 1386 VFW. Ladislaus enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and in his younger years; played baseball in local Kingston leagues.
Surviving are two sons; Robert Tomaszewski of Kingston and Richard Tomaszewski and his wife Carolyn of Danbury, Conn., one sister Anna Qwill of Kingston, three grandchildren; Jonathan and his wife Sara, Jason and Lindsay Tomaszewski, and one great-granddaughter Zoey Grace as well as nieces and nephews also survive.
Ladislaus’ wife; Virginia died in Nov. of 1993; a son James, as well as brothers and sisters Francis, John, Joseph, Stanley Helen and Katherine Tomaszewski died previously.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral procession will form Thursday morning 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. St. Joseph’s Church Kingston. Burial with military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
