University in Dan­bury of­fers in-state tu­ition

DAN­BURY, CONN. » Western Con­necti­cut State University is of­fer­ing in-state tu­ition to res­i­dents of seven New York coun­ties start­ing with the Fall 2017 se­mes­ter.

Stu­dents from Ul­ster, Dutchess, Put­nam, Westch­ester, Or­ange, Sul­li­van and Rock­land coun­ties will be able to en­roll at WCSU at the an­nual rate of $10,017, the same amount paid by Con­necti­cut res­i­dents. Out-of-state tu­ition and fees for these stu­dents has been $22,878.

The university is pro­mot­ing the new fees with a pro­mo­tional cam­paign called “Look West. Pay Less.” It will pro­mote WCSU’s of­fer­ings and the new pric­ing, which will save stu­dents in the seven coun­ties more than $12,000 a year.

Among Western’s 38 bach­e­lor de­gree pro­grams are busi­ness man­age­ment, mar­ket­ing and ac­count­ing. The WCSU Of­fice of Ad­mis­sions will an­swer any ques­tions at (203) 8379000 or ad­mis­sions@ wcsu.edu.
