Soda woes

Daily Freeman (Kingston, NY) - - BUSINESS -

Coca-Cola has been grappling with a steady decline in demand for soda in the U.S. as well as in key international markets.

In July, the world’s biggest beverage company cut its sales forecast for the year, but outlined changes aimed at addressing the trend, including a plan to focus on affordability for rural and blue-collar customers in the U.S. Investors will be listening for an update today, when Coca-Cola serves up its third-quarter results.
