SUNY Ul­ster trans­fer day planned for Nov. 7

SUNY Ul­ster’s fall 2016 trans­fer day is sched­uled from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Stu­dent Life Cen­ter in Van­der­lyn Hall, on the Stone Ridge cam­pus.

Stu­dents at­tend­ing any col­lege are in­vited to par­tic­i­pate to learn about op­por­tu­ni­ties to trans­fer from a two-year col­lege to a pub­lic or pri­vate fouryear col­lege or univer­sity. Par­ents and high school stu­dents are also in­vited.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives of more than 50 col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties will be present, in­clud­ing many cam­puses of the State Univer­sity of New York (SUNY) and pri­vate col­leges in New York and other states, such as Mount Saint Mary Col­lege, Siena Col­lege and Rens­se­laer Poly­tech­nic In­sti­tute.

In­for­ma­tion will also be pro­vided about ap­pli­ca­tion pro­ce­dures and fi­nan­cial aid.
