Win­ter*net sched­ule fast-tracks cour­ses

STONE RIDGE » Col­lege stu­dents can earn cred­its quickly and eco­nom­i­cally dur­ing their hol­i­day break by tak­ing on­line, blended or class­room cour­ses through SUNY Ul­ster’s Win­ter*net pro­gram, which lets them earn three cred­its in three weeks.

Win­ter*net is open to stu­dents at any col­lege. On­line reg­is­tra­tion runs through Dec. 23, with classes sched­uled from Dec. 26 to Jan. 14, 2017.

The sched­ule in­cludes on­line cour­ses rang­ing from bi­ol­ogy, busi­ness law and gen­eral psy­chol­ogy to Span­ish, western civ­i­liza­tion and macroe­co­nomics. There is a blended class on in­for­ma­tion lit­er­acy that com­bines face-to-face class­room learn­ing with on­line in­struc­tion, and an on-cam­pus or­ganic chem­istry lab.
