Robert Cle­mons, 80, of Lake Ge­orge

Robert Cle­mons, 80, passed away Fri­day evening, Oct. 28, 2016, at Glens Falls Hospi­tal, with his fam­ily by his side.

Born Jan. 23, 1936, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Keyser) Cle­mons. Bob was born and raised in Sco­tia, N.Y.

Later re­sid­ing in Lomontville, he be­came a life­long mem­ber and chief of the Lomontville Fire De­part­ment. He also worked for GE, IBM, and served in the Air Na­tional Guard.

For over 30 years, Bob owned and op­er­ated Cle­mons Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Ser­vice in Port Ewen, N.Y. He moved to Till­son and then to his most-loved lo­ca­tion — Dun­ham Bay on Lake Ge­orge with his best pal “Har­ley.” Most re­cently, Bob en­joyed work­ing part time at Lowe’s in Queens­bury fol­low­ing his re­tire­ment.

In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, Bob was pre­de­ceased by his first wife, Eva (Catallo) Cle­mons, and brother, Bruce.

He was best friend and lov­ing hus­band of Les­ley Cle­mons; fa­ther of Robert (Linda) Cle­mons of Millersville, Md., and Bon­nie Cle­mons of San Diego, Calif.; step­fa­ther to Michael Riz­zotto of Till­son, N.Y.; as well as un­cle, cousin, and friend to many.

Call­ing hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thurs­day, Nov. 3, at Baker Fu­neral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queens­bury, N.Y. 12804.

A fu­neral ser­vice will fol­low at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Ali Trow­bridge of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Fri­day, Nov. 4, at Hurley Ceme­tery on Zand­hoek Rd. in Hurley, N.Y.
