DE­TAILS: The Fly­ing Cat Mu­sic Se­ries con­tin­ues with a per­for­mance by the New York City folk/Amer­i­cana quin­tet Bobtown. With their dis­tinc­tive orig­i­nal songs and vo­cal ar­range­ments, Bobtown is rec­og­nized as tak­ing an un­con­ven­tional and re­fresh­ing ap­proach to the tra­di­tion of folk mu­sic. The group’s three­al­bum discog­ra­phy presents a roots mu­sic mash-up bound to­gether by a con­tin­u­ous thread of in­no­va­tive vo­cal har­monies.
