Vas­sar talk will fo­cus on cli­mate, elec­tions

POUGH­KEEP­SIE » Hunter Lovins, pres­i­dent and founder of Nat­u­ral Cap­i­tal­ism So­lu­tions, will speak at 5 p.m. Fri­day, Nov. 14, in Room 203 of Vas­sar Col­lege’s Taylor Hall Au­di­to­rium.

Lovins, a pro­fes­sor of sus­tain­able man­age­ment at Bard Col­lege, will dis­cuss the re­cent rat­i­fi­ca­tion of the Paris cli­mate agree­ment, the U.S. gen­eral elec­tions, and how stu­dents may pur­sue ca­reer op­por­tu­ni­ties that sup­port what she terms “an econ­omy in ser­vice of life.” The talk is spon­sored by the Of­fice of Sus­tain­abil­ity.
