Se­nior groups list meet­ing sched­ules

NEW PALTZ >> The Re­tired Men of the New Paltz Com­mu­nity in­vite will have their monthly break­fast meet­ing on Mon­day, Nov. 7, at 8 a.m. at the Plaza Diner, 27 New Paltz Plaza.

The speaker will be Ivan Echenique, who will talk about Fam­ily of New Paltz.

The group is open to all re­tired (or soon-to-be-re­tired) men of New Paltz and the sur­round­ing area. There are no dues and no re­quire­ments ex­pected of the at­ten­dees. Any and all re­tired men are wel­come. The group meets at the Plaza Diner at 8 a.m., has break­fast (on the group) be­fore the speaker talks for about 20 or 30 min­utes.

ROSENDALE >> The Rosendale Se­niors will have a so­cial meet­ing on Wed­nes­day, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Rosendale Recre­ation Cen­ter, Route 32.

Bingo will be played, fol­lowed by the serv­ing of re­fresh­ments. An ex­ec­u­tive board meet­ing will take place Wed­nes­day Nov. 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the cen­ter. It will be fol­lowed by a busi­ness meet­ing at 1 p.m. New mem­bers are al­ways wel­come.

ROSENDALE >> The Women’s Club of Rosendale will meet Thurs­day, Nov. 7, at the Rosendale Com­mu­nity Cen­ter, Route 32.

The group’s mis­sion is to pro­vide com­mu­nity en­hance­ment, through civic, ed­u­ca­tional and hu­man­i­tar­ian ac­com­plish­ment.

Pat Merck is the Co­or­di­na­tor for the Loan Closet. The Loan Closet pro­vides tools for tem­po­rary dis­abil­ity, such as wheel­chairs, walk­ers and canes. New and slightly used items in good con­di­tion will also be ac­cepted.

RED HOOK >> The Rhinebeck Red Hook AARP will meet Wed­nes­day, Nov. 9, at the

Red Hook Com­mu­nity Cen­ter, for­merly the North­ern Dutchess Bi­ble Church, 59 Fisk St. So­cial hour be­gins at 10:30 a.m., with the meet­ing start­ing at 11:30 a.m. and a speaker at 12:15 p.m.

The speaker will be Syd­ney Leone of MVP Health Care on the topic of fall pre­ven­tion, with an em­pha­sis on ways to im­prove bal­ance to pre­vent falls. The pro­gram is pre­sented by the Red Hook Li­brary.

KINGSTON >> The Sawkill Se­niors will meet Wed­nes­day, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Town of Kingston Town Hall, 906 Sawkill Road.

The guest speaker will be Tommy Kee­gan of Kee­gan Ales. Monthly meet­ings take place the sec­ond Wed­nes­day of the month at 1 p.m. The meet­ings be­gin with a guest speaker and for­mal for­mat, fol­lowed by a raf­fle, so­cial­iz­ing and re­fresh­ments.

There is also a card game for those who wish to par­tic­i­pate. New mem­bers are wel­come.
