Senior groups list meeting schedules
NEW PALTZ >> The Retired Men of the New Paltz Community invite will have their monthly breakfast meeting on Monday, Nov. 7, at 8 a.m. at the Plaza Diner, 27 New Paltz Plaza.
The speaker will be Ivan Echenique, who will talk about Family of New Paltz.
The group is open to all retired (or soon-to-be-retired) men of New Paltz and the surrounding area. There are no dues and no requirements expected of the attendees. Any and all retired men are welcome. The group meets at the Plaza Diner at 8 a.m., has breakfast (on the group) before the speaker talks for about 20 or 30 minutes.
ROSENDALE >> The Rosendale Seniors will have a social meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Rosendale Recreation Center, Route 32.
Bingo will be played, followed by the serving of refreshments. An executive board meeting will take place Wednesday Nov. 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the center. It will be followed by a business meeting at 1 p.m. New members are always welcome.
ROSENDALE >> The Women’s Club of Rosendale will meet Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Rosendale Community Center, Route 32.
The group’s mission is to provide community enhancement, through civic, educational and humanitarian accomplishment.
Pat Merck is the Coordinator for the Loan Closet. The Loan Closet provides tools for temporary disability, such as wheelchairs, walkers and canes. New and slightly used items in good condition will also be accepted.

RED HOOK >> The Rhinebeck Red Hook AARP will meet Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the
Red Hook Community Center, formerly the Northern Dutchess Bible Church, 59 Fisk St. Social hour begins at 10:30 a.m., with the meeting starting at 11:30 a.m. and a speaker at 12:15 p.m.
The speaker will be Sydney Leone of MVP Health Care on the topic of fall prevention, with an emphasis on ways to improve balance to prevent falls. The program is presented by the Red Hook Library.
KINGSTON >> The Sawkill Seniors will meet Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Town of Kingston Town Hall, 906 Sawkill Road.
The guest speaker will be Tommy Keegan of Keegan Ales. Monthly meetings take place the second Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. The meetings begin with a guest speaker and formal format, followed by a raffle, socializing and refreshments.
There is also a card game for those who wish to participate. New members are welcome.
