DE­TAILS: The Wood­stock Day School Par­ents’ As­so­ci­a­tion will spon­sor a free screen­ing of the crit­i­cally ac­claimed doc­u­men­tary “Screenagers: Grow­ing Up in a Dig­i­tal World,” from award-win­ning film­maker and Stan­ford-trained physi­cian Dr. De­laney Rus­ton. Rus­ton, a mother her­self, presents both so­cial and med­i­cal sci­ence to delve deep into the per­va­sive prob­lems of screen ad­dic­tion, while also in­cor­po­rat­ing hu­mor and op­ti­mism, of­fer­ing so­lu­tions and sug­ges­tions for fam­i­lies try­ing to find bal­ance. Fol­low­ing the 68-minute film, four stu­dents from Wood­stock Day School’s Me­dia Arts Lab will con­duct a 45-minute panel dis­cus­sion. All area schools, pub­lic and pri­vate, are in­vited to at­tend the event.
