A Saugerties woman faces burglary and drug charges after a pair of break-ins in the village, according to Saugerties Police.
Police said they arrested Erica Cavallaro, 35, of 37 Glasco Turnpike, at 8:06 p.m. Saturday after an investigation determined she went into a garage at 20 Burt St. and stole a baby stroller, yard rake and gas can.
Authorities said Cavallaro later went into a house at 105 Burt St. and took various items, including a laptop, medications and food. She was also found in possession of 40 Percocet prescription pain pills and other stolen property from both homes.
Authorities charged Cavallaro with two counts of burglary, a felony; three counts each of criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors, and the violation of possession of a controlled substance by ultimate user outside of its original container.
Police said Cavallaro possibly tried to break into additional homes and vehicles, and that further charges may be pending.
Cavallaro was arraigned in Saugerties Village Court and was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pending a court appearance.
