A Sauger­ties woman faces burglary and drug charges after a pair of break-ins in the vil­lage.

A Sauger­ties woman faces burglary and drug charges after a pair of break-ins in the vil­lage, ac­cord­ing to Sauger­ties Po­lice.

Po­lice said they ar­rested Erica Caval­laro, 35, of 37 Glasco Turn­pike, at 8:06 p.m. Satur­day after an in­ves­ti­ga­tion de­ter­mined she went into a garage at 20 Burt St. and stole a baby stroller, yard rake and gas can.

Au­thor­i­ties said Caval­laro later went into a house at 105 Burt St. and took var­i­ous items, in­clud­ing a lap­top, med­i­ca­tions and food. She was also found in pos­ses­sion of 40 Per­co­cet pre­scrip­tion pain pills and other stolen prop­erty from both homes.

Au­thor­i­ties charged Caval­laro with two counts of burglary, a felony; three counts each of crim­i­nal pos­ses­sion of stolen prop­erty and crim­i­nal pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance, all mis­de­meanors, and the vi­o­la­tion of pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance by ul­ti­mate user out­side of its orig­i­nal con­tainer.

Po­lice said Caval­laro pos­si­bly tried to break into ad­di­tional homes and ve­hi­cles, and that fur­ther charges may be pend­ing.

Caval­laro was ar­raigned in Sauger­ties Vil­lage Court and was sent to the Ul­ster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pend­ing a court ap­pear­ance.
