WHAT: Vic­to­rian dec­o­ra­tion work­shop WHEN: Dec. 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with regis­tra­tion dead­line Nov. 23. WHERE: Cor­nell Co­op­er­a­tive Ex­ten­sion of Ul­ster County Ed­u­ca­tion Cen­ter, 232 Plaza Road, Kingston DE­TAILS: With the hol­i­day sea­son ap­proach­ing, why not dec­o­rate your home with a Vic­to­rian dec­o­ra­tion for your door­way? Cor­nell Co­op­er­a­tive Ex­ten­sion of Ul­ster County’s Mas­ter Gar­dener Pro­gram will pro­vide the ever­green boughs and know-how at this hands-on work­shop. Learn the se­crets to mak­ing an old-fash­ioned kiss­ing ball. They’re fra­grant, beau­ti­ful and not as hard to cre­ate as they look. Bring gloves and prun­ing shears, or wire clip­pers if you have them. All other sup­plies will be pro­vided. The fee is $25 per per­son. Class size is lim­ited, and pr­ereg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. The dead­line to reg­is­ter is Nov. 23.
