Stewart Alfred Winn of Kingston
Stewart Alfred Winn, of Kingston, passed away after a long illness, Monday, Nov. 7, 2016.
Born in Oakland, Calif., he was the son of the late Alfred and Alta (Stewart) Winn.
As a young man, Stewart worked in his family’s butcher shop and served in the U.S. Navy. He loved dealing with people, and had a successful sales career with DuBois Chemical in the Bay Area and the New York Capital District for 25 years, retiring as District Manager. Following retirement, Stewart enjoyed fundraising for the Kingston High School and Bailey Middle School bands and volunteering with the Clinton Avenue Methodist Church Soup Kitchen. Traveling abroad was a pleasure Stewart appreciated throughout his life. He looked forward to his weekly bridge tournaments, family barbecues, and listening to old jazz standards.
Surviving is his wife, Susan Winn, and his children, Meagan Winn and Christopher Winn.
