Business center gets four commendations
ALBANY >> The New York Small Business Development Center received a successful accreditation report with four commendations from the Association of Small Business Development Centers.
The commendations included recognition of the center’s relief efforts after Superstorm Sandy.
All 24 regional centers of the Small Business Development Center were individually reviewed, along with the central office in Albany. The Mid-Hudson center was one of the top-performing centers in the state, having the highest number of businesses served.
The Mid-Hudson Small Business Development Center is supported by SUNY Ulster and serves Ulster, Dutchess, Greene, Delaware, Orange, Schoharie and Sullivan counties. It specializes in business counseling and assistance to small businesses.
This is the first time the New York Small Business Development Center received the four commendations.
