A story Sunday about the New York City Department of Environmental Protection effort to renew a filtration avoidance determination incorrectly reported the Natural Resources Defense Council is among groups asking that the state take the lead agency role for environmental reviews. The story also should have noted that the New York Public Interest Research Group did sign onto the letter.
