Of­fen­sive line­man Adam Get­tis has been signed off the prac­tice squad with left guard Justin Pugh ex­pected to miss up to a month with a sprained right knee. The team also signed re­ceivers Kevin Nor­wood and Da’Ron Brown to their prac­tice squad. A third-round draft pick, Thomp­son earned a start­ing job in train­ing camp de­spite miss­ing two pre­sea­son games with a shoul­der in­jury. He played in the sea­son opener in Dal­las and started the vic­tory against New Or­leans the fol­low­ing week, but hurt his foot and never played again.
