Caroline M. Fer­raro, 94, of Kingston, died Fri­day, Nov. 11, 2016, at the home of her daugh­ter, Mar­i­lyn.

Born in Kingston, she was a daugh­ter of the late James and For­tu­nata Nac­carato Po­lacco, Sr.

In her ear­lier years, Caroline was a seam­stress with var­i­ous gar­ment fac­to­ries in Kingston. She was a very devout Catholic who prayed the rosary ev­ery day. She was a life­long parish­ioner of St. Mary’s Church and a mem­ber of the Ladies So­ci­ety of Santa Maria.

Caroline en­joyed read­ing, cook­ing, bak­ing and, in her ear­lier years, danc­ing with her hus­band.

Fam­ily was the most im­por­tant part of her life. She was a very de­voted mother, grand­mother and great­grand­mother.

Caroline is sur­vived by two daugh­ters, Mar­i­lyn Bi­tonte and her hus­band Vin­cent of Port Ewen, Char­lene Davis of Kingston; a brother, James J. Po­lacco, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Kingston; a sis­ter, Joan-Marie Ko­mosa and her hus­band Don of Cape Cod, Mass.; two grand­chil­dren, Jar­rod Davis and his part­ner Denise LaBar and Jes­sica Ni­cosia and her hus­band Jim; six great-grand­chil­dren, Ri­ley Davis, Lo­gan Davis, Josie Ni­cosia, Noah Davis, Owen Davis and Piper Ni­cosia.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Caroline was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Charles “Shanghi” Fer­raro, who passed in 1995; three brothers, An­thony, John and Charles Po­lacco.

Caroline will be re­pos­ing at the Simp­son-Gaus Fu­neral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston, on Sun­day from 3 to 6 p.m.

The fu­neral pro­ces­sion will form from the fu­neral home on Mon­day at 10 a.m.

A Fu­neral Mass will be cel­e­brated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church.

In­ter­ment will fol­low in St. Mary’s Ceme­tery.
