Joan V. Kilmer Kovesdy, 83, of Saugerties
Joan V. Kilmer Kovesdy, 83, of John Yeager Rd., formerly of Ponckhockie St., Kingston, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at her residence.
Born Dec. 7, 1932, in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Drum Kilmer.
A lifetime area resident, she was a former member of the Hurley Reformed Church and recently attended the Saugerties Reformed Church.
She was a beloved mother to her daughters, Lynn (Art) Biscoglio of Saugerties and Sharon Fisher of North Carolina; sister, Nancy Greer of Lake Hill; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her former husband, Tibor and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Howard Griffing and William Kilmer, Jr.; and step-daughter, Kathy Kovesdy Delben.
Her Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Interment will be in the Wiltwyck Cemetery.
