SCOUTS’ FOOD DRIVE
Kingston Kiwanis members Gabriele Raub, left, and Donna Rosenberg sort through hundreds of food items at the UPS garage that would get placed into specific boxes as part of the annual “Scouting for Food” drive on Saturday. Fifty scout troops from Greene and Ulster counties collected roughly 70,000 food items from residents by hanging yellow bags on door knobs. More than 40 food pantries in both counties will benefit from the drive. More than 70 volunteers assisted at the garage to help organized collected food items.
