Take 5 ticket worth $34K sold at Cairo store

A Take 5 lot­tery ticket worth more than $34,000 was sold in this Greene County town, the state lot­tery di­vi­sion said Mon­day.

The ticket, which matched all five num­ber drawn Fri­day, was pur­chased at Cairo Mart, 441 Main St., the di­vi­sion said. The holder will re­ceive $34,382.50 be­fore taxes.

The Cairo ticket was one of two to match all five num­bers in the Fri­day draw­ing. The other was sold in Queens.

The win­ning num­bers were 5, 13, 20, 23 and 26.

Lot­tery win­nings can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the draw­ing. There are lot­tery claims of­fices at 18 Westage Busi­ness Cen­ter, Suite 6, Fishkill, and 1 Broad­way Cen­ter, Sch­enec­tady.

Take 5 play­ers (or Quick Pick lot­tery com­put­ers) se­lect five dif­fer­ent num­bers from 1 to 39. The win­ning num­bers are drawn at 11:21 p.m. daily.
