Farmers market moves indoors this weekend
The Saugerties Farmers Market will move indoors this Saturday and feature produce, meats, poultry, baked goods, speciality foods and holiday gifts.
The market will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greco Senior Center, 207 Market St.
Among the vendors will be Mangia Bene’s Joe and Laura Aiello, who will bring turkey, chicken, goat and rabbit meats. To get a turkey for the holidays, call them at (845) 2463162 to reserve.
Other vendors will include Cooperstown Cheese, Deacon Weeks (handraised beef, pork and lamb), Lynnhaven Farm (goat milk cheeses and chocolate truffles), Healthway Farm (vegetables) and Maynard Farm (apples, pears, cider and seasonal vegetables).
The market also will feature jewelry, yarn, knitted goods, greeting cards, prints, paintings, beeswax candles and all-natural skin-care products.
