Cham­ber mem­bers can re­cy­cle elec­tron­ics

The Dutchess County Re­gional Cham­ber of Com­merce and Royal Cart­ing Ser­vice are of­fer­ing elec­tron­ics re­cy­cling ser­vices to reg­is­tered cham­ber busi­nesses through Satur­day at Royal Cart­ing, 409 Route 82.

Pr­ereg­is­tra­tion is re­quired to re­ceive dis­counted pric­ing. Dropoff times are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Fri­day and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Satur­day. Royal Cart­ing Ser­vice will be avail­able to un­load ve­hi­cles dur­ing des­ig­nated dropoff times.

El­i­gi­ble elec­tron­ics in­clude mon­i­tors, lap­top com­put­ers, print­ers, key­boards, fax ma­chines, VCRs, bat­ter­ies, cell­phones, mi­crowave ovens, ca­bles, ra­dios, modems, CRTs, tele­phones, flat screen TVs, CPUs, copiers, type­writ­ers, stereo equip­ment and other elec­tron­ics.
