Climate change event scheduled for Friday
SUNY Ulster will hold a “Sustainability and Climate Change Awareness Event” at noon Friday in the college lounge. The event includes: • SUNY Ulster and Universidad LaSalle students presenting the sustainability research of their joint Collaborative Online International Learning class held via the Internet.
• Ulster County Executive Mike Hein will speak about the innovative programs that have made Ulster County the most sustainable county in New York State and the 23rd most sustainable county in the nation.
• A live videoconference from the U.N. Conference on Climate Change in Marrakesh, Morocco with the Mexican Undersecretary of Environmental Policy and Planning, Dr. Rodolfo Lacy Tamayo.
