Make ap­point­ment on­line for Ul­ster DMV

Re­cent im­prove­ments to the Ul­ster County Depart­ment of Mo­tor Ve­hi­cle’s queu­ing sys­tem al­low ap­point­ments to be made on­line, ac­cord­ing to County Clerk Nina Pos­tu­pack.

Be­sides a new touch­screen kiosk and tick­ets that print a list of doc­u­ments needed to per­form a trans­ac­tion, cus­tomers can now make an ap­point­ment, help­ing to en­sure a min­i­mal wait time. Visit http://ul­ster­coun­tyny.gov/ coun­ty­clerk/ and choose “Make a DMV Ap­point­ment” from the op­tions on the right side of the screen. Af­ter fill­ing in the re­quired in­for­ma­tion and se­lect­ing a time, cus­tomers will re­ceive a con­fir­ma­tion email or text mes­sage with a book­ing num­ber. Ar­rive at the DMV at the des­ig­nated time, en­ter the book­ing num­ber into the kiosk, and the cus­tomer’s ticket will print.

Ap­point­ments can be made up to 30 days in ad­vance.
