SUNY Ulster is hosting its Third Annual “OwnIt! Entrepreneurial Women’s Conference” on June 1, 2017, and is seeking regional experts for consideration as workshop leaders in a variety of entrepreneurship-related subjects.

The theme of this year’s one-day conference, “Ready, Start, Grow,” targets both small business owners ready to expand their businesses, as well as entrepreneurs in the startup stage. For the first time, OwnIt! will feature two tracks of workshops for these two audiences; other topic suggestions are being sought.

The deadline for submitting workshop proposals is Dec. 15.

The conference, sponsored by The Darlene L. Pfeiffer Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at SUNY Ulster, the Ulster community College Foundation Inc. and the Mid-Hudson Small Business Development Center, drew more than 100 attendees in 2015 and 2016.
