Benefit for Center for Spectrum Services at Diamond Mills
The Harvest Hop Dance — hosted by the Center for Spectrum Services, one of the area’s premier schools for children with autism — will hosts its Harvest Hop Dance on Saturday, Nov. 19, starting at 7:30 p.m. at Diamond Mills, 25 S. Partition St., Saugerties.
The fundraiser will help support programs and services for the school’s students, all of whom have autism.
Joe Veillette and The Phantoms will provide the music, both a cappella and plugged in. This year’s special honoree and Harvest Hop chairperson is Sue Blakely Cutrone. Her volunteer activities for Spectrum Services has also included arranging grant support from her former employer, IBM. Veillette and Blakely Cutrone both have grandchildren who are students at Spectrum Services.
Along with the music, there will be complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with a cash bar during the event’s first hour. There will also be a silent auction of items, services and goods.
The event is being sponsored by a number of Hudson Valley businesses, including Rose & Kiernan Insurance, Rondout Savings Bank, Herzog’s Home & Paint Centers, Hudson River Valley Environmental LLC and Ulster Publishing.
Reservations are $60 per person.
