WHAT: Our Town Talk WHEN: Dec. 3 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a tour of the par­son­age site from 10 a.m. to noon.

WHERE: Hover Room of Ger­man­town Li­brary, 31 Pala­tine Park Road, Ger­man­town

DE­TAILS: Pro­fes­sor Christo­pher Lind­ner of the Bard Col­lege an­thro­pol­ogy pro­gram will give an up­date on the sta­tus of the on­go­ing ar­chae­o­log­i­cal dig project un­der­way at the his­toric Par­son­age site at Maple Av­enue in Ger­man­town. Learn about the progress of the dig and the his­tor­i­cal ar­ti­facts found to date from the ear­li­est days the Palatines lived in the area with African-Americans and Na­tive Americans. The talk will also re­view find­ings from this year’s Bard Archaeology Field School. The dig and lab took place at the par­son­age site in Ger­man­town. A tour of the dig site will take place be­fore the talk.
