Anne Marie Pear­son, 87, of Hur­ley

Anne Marie Pear­son, 87, of Hur­ley, passed away Mon­day, Oct. 31, 2016, at Ever­green Com­mons Nurs­ing Home in East Green­bush. She was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Kingston, to the late Vic­tor Roth and Lula (Markle) Roth. She was mar­ried to her lov­ing hus­band of 65 years, Richard Charles Pear­son.

Anne was a Kingston High School grad­u­ate, later was a man­ager for Triple S Redemp­tion Stamps in Kingston and also worked for Sears. She was an ac­tive mem­ber of the Old Dutch Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. In ad­di­tion to her hus­band, she is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Dou­glas (Linda) Pear­son of Co­hoes, N.Y., Victoria (Bruce) Woodruff of Granville, N.Y.; her grand­daugh­ters, Angela Galli, Jil­lian (Neil) Allen, and Elise Galli; her twin sis­ter, Betty Snell; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

She was pre­de­ceased by her brother, Richard Roth.

En­trusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Fu­neral Home, 65 Lu­cas Ave., Kingston. A grave­side burial ser­vice will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Hur­ley Ceme­tery.
