Stephen T. Bai­ley, 66, of Hur­ley Av­enue, Kingston, died at his home Thurs­day, Nov. 17, 2016, with his fam­ily by his side in the care of Hos­pice. Born Oct. 7, 1950, in East Branch, N.Y., he was a son of the late Rev. Joseph Bai­ley and Fan­nie (Baker) Bai­ley.

Stephen was em­ployed for many years at Dyno No­bel in Port Ewen, N.Y., un­til re­tire­ment. He was then em­ployed by Won­derly’s in Kingston.

He en­joyed mu­sic, played gui­tar; he cher­ished the time spent with his com­pan­ion, Sherri Pape as they trav­eled and spent time camp­ing with fam­ily and friends. His days were also filled with joy as he played with his grand­son, Pre­ston.

Sur­viv­ing are his com­pan­ion, Sherri Pape; stepchil­dren, Amy Pape, Michael Pape and his wife Katie; broth­ers, Joseph Bai­ley and his wife Meg, Alvin Bai­ley and his wife Mar­garet Ann (Maggie), Timothy Bai­ley and Mark Bai­ley; and two grand­chil­dren, Pre­ston and Carter Pape. Many nieces and neph­ews, four great-nieces and two great-neph­ews also sur­vive.

A son, Ja­cob Bai­ley, pre­de­ceased him.

Fu­neral ar­range­ments are un­der the guid­ance of Joseph V. Leahy Fu­neral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston (www.jvleahyfh. com). Friends will be re­ceived at the fu­neral home Mon­day from 3 to 7 p.m. A ser­vice will be held at 7 p.m. to con­clude the evening. Cre­ma­tion will be held at Wiltwyck Cre­ma­tory.
