The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• DWI: Holly M. Levis, 22, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:25 a.m. Saturday on Hurley Avenue and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
• DWI: Lori M. Gray, 52, of Modena, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:37 p.m. Friday on state Route 32 South and was charged with drunken driving (first offense) and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with failure to keep right on a two-lane road, an infraction. She was released with a court appearance ticket.
• Drugs: Kenneth G. Parks, 30, of Poughkeepsie, and Florence H. Algarin, 37, of Kingston, were charged with a violation Thursday after being found with more than $27,000 and a quantity of marijuana during a traffic stop, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. On Thursday at about 11 a.m., deputies said they stopped a motor vehicle on U.S. Route 9W in Saugerties for an equipment violation. Parks was driving the vehicle and Algarin was a passenger, deputies said. Further investigation revealed the occupants to be in possession of marijuana, deputies said. Both were released on appearance tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
• DWI: Grigore Botis, 53, of Rego Park, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:23 p.m. Friday on state Route 28 at the Emerson Resort and Spa, and was charged with drunken driving (first offense) and aggravated drunken drivng, both misdemeanors, and with colliding with an emergency vehicle, an infraction. Botis was released with a court appearance ticket.
