More vehicles broken into at Route 9G fitness center
For the second time this month, vehicles have been broken into in the IXL Fitness parking lot on state Route 9G, state police said Tuesday. The suspect or suspects broke into three vehicles between 10 and 11 a.m. Nov. 16, police said. They said several items — including wallets, purses, credit cards, cash and watches — were stolen. “The state police would like to remind members of the public to refrain from
storing valuable property inside of their vehicles,” police said in a press release. Police asked that anyone with information that could aid the investigation call them at (845) 677-7300. On Nov. 7, three vehicles were broken into in the same lot, between 4:45 and 6:15 p.m. Valuables also were taken in that case, police said.
