Library hosts children’s science program
WHAT: Children’s program, “Sounds Like Science” WHEN: Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m. WHERE: Kingston Library, 55 Franklin St., Kingston DETAILS: Mad Science of the Mid-Hudson will present “Sounds Like Science” as part of the library’s Super Saturdays Performance Series for schoolage children. It’s an interactive educational and fun show all about sound and sound waves. The sound show explores how sound is made and how attendees will be shocked as a dinosaur roar is created with simple materials. The Mad Scientist will create a crazy cacophony with a garbage can, a swinging sound tube and a metal pipe. Admission is free.
