The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor with a program on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The short program will begin at 2 p.m. at the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, 374 Temple Hill Road. It will highlight the significance of the attack to American history and honor those who lost their lives during the attack.

It was approximately 2 p.m. Eastern time when the second wave of Japanese aircraft attacked Pearl Harbor and this program reflects this connection to the events of that day.

Seating for the program is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Call (845) 561-1765 for reservations. For more information, visit www.thepurpleheart.com.

Parking, a gift shop and picnic grounds are located on site. Gallery exhibits are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
