Belgian vessel pays a brief visit
The Sojourn, a former European river freight barge built in Belgium in 1963, was in Kingston this week, en route to New York City. The long, single-level, blue-andwhite vessel — which now is used as a river and canal cruiser — moored Tuesday at the Hudson River Maritime Museum dock on the Rondout Creek in Kingston. The Sojourn left the following morning to head south down the Hudson River.
The Sojourn is shown near the Rondout II Lighthouse on the Hudson River, at the mouth of the Rondout Creek leading to Kingston.
