Town plans week­end Christ­mas cel­e­bra­tion

The hol­i­day sea­son will kick off here with the an­nual “Christ­mas in Liv­ingston” cel­e­bra­tion on Fri­day, Dec. 2.

At 5 p.m., the Lin­lithgo Re­formed Church on Church Road will hold a sup­per with a choice of soups, tossed salad and fresh baked bread.

Free will of­fer­ings will be ac­cepted.

The an­nual Christ­mas Tree Light­ing and Carol Singing is sched­uled for 6:30 p.m. at the town gazebo.

There will be a dessert buf­fet and the Liv­ingston Re­cre­ation As­so­ci­a­tion will host a chil­dren’s Christ­mas party a the Town Hall fol­low­ing the tree light­ing.

On Satur­day, Dec. 3, the Liv­ingston se­nior cit­i­zens hol­i­day lun­cheon will be held at the Lin­lithgo Re­formed Church at 11:30 a.m.

Reser­va­tions for the sup­per or lun­cheon should be made by leav­ing a mes­sage at (518) 851-9441, ext. 311, by Wed­nes­day, Nov. 30.
