Farmers Market goes indoors Saturday
The winter Kingston Farmers Market will open Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Old Dutch Church, 272 Wall St.
The market is expected to feature vendors offering a selection of local fare, including fresh vegetables, pastured meats, handcrafted cheeses, wine and spirits, pickles and kimchi, fish breads, gluten-free baked goods, chocolates, honey, and body care products, among others.
There will be live music performed by Maiko Hata and crafts for children.
Vendors will accept EBT food stamps, and FreshConnect checks will be available through the end of the year. Shoppers are urged to bring reusable shopping bags or pick one up at the market.
The winter Farmers Market is scheduled to continue every other Saturday through April 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Old Dutch Church. For more information, visit the market’s page on Facebook or www.kingstonfarmersmarket.org/
