Farm­ers Mar­ket goes in­doors Satur­day

The winter Kingston Farm­ers Mar­ket will open Satur­day, Dec. 3, at the Old Dutch Church, 272 Wall St.

The mar­ket is ex­pected to fea­ture ven­dors of­fer­ing a se­lec­tion of lo­cal fare, in­clud­ing fresh veg­eta­bles, pas­tured meats, hand­crafted cheeses, wine and spir­its, pickles and kim­chi, fish breads, gluten-free baked goods, choco­lates, honey, and body care prod­ucts, among oth­ers.

There will be live mu­sic per­formed by Maiko Hata and crafts for chil­dren.

Ven­dors will ac­cept EBT food stamps, and FreshCon­nect checks will be avail­able through the end of the year. Shop­pers are urged to bring re­us­able shop­ping bags or pick one up at the mar­ket.
