Conference will look at farming, food systems
A regional conference on farming and local food systems, “Farming Our Future,” is scheduled for Feb. 25, 2017, at Taconic Hills Central School District, 73 County Route 11A,
The annual conference is expected to attract farmers, businesses, community leaders and citizens interested in farming.
The theme for the 2017 conference will be “Healthy Food: Access for All?” Speakers and workshops will cover topics related to accessing locally produced food, attracting and getting youngsters interested in farming as an occupation.
