An­drew Se­niuk’s jumper with two sec­onds left lifted SUNY New Paltz to its first win of the sea­son.

Kit Small had 12 points, four rebounds and three steals for the (3-2) Hawks. Mo­ran Roessler had 10 points and seven rebounds, while Court­ney Irby added nine points and nine boards in the loss.

Sandi Har­ris led the (5-0) Vi­o­lets with a game-high 22 points, 14 rebounds, eight as­sists and three steals.

New Paltz opens State Univer­sity of New York Ath­letic Con­fer­ence play this week­end with games at Ge­ne­seo (Friday) and Brock­port (Saturday).
