His­toric site of­fers can­dle­light tours

Clermont State His­toric Site, 1 Clermont Ave., off state Route 9G, will host a Can­dle­light Even­ing from 3 to 6 p.m. Sun­day, Dec. 11, al­low­ing visi­tors to en­joy guided tours of the man­sion dec­o­rated for the hol­i­days.

Each room on the tour will fea­ture a cast of metic­u­lously cos­tumed “ac­tors” frozen into liv­ing pic­tures of his­toric hol­i­day cel­e­bra­tions. Ac­tors will cre­ate scenes fea­tur­ing the seven gen­er­a­tions of Liv­ingstons who lived in the man­sion en­gag­ing in var­i­ous fes­tiv­i­ties, in­clud­ing Christ­mas, Twelfth Night and New Year’s cel­e­bra­tions. Each tour ends with was­sail and tra­di­tional hol­i­day treats served in the his­toric kitchen.
