Museum hosts snow globe work­shop on Dec. 11

WHAT: Snow globe work­shop WHEN: Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. WHERE: Out­door Dis­cover Center at the Hudson High­lands Na­ture Museum, Muser Drive, Con­r­wall-on-Hudson DE­TAILS: Join En­vi­ron­men­tal Ed­u­ca­tor Carl Heit­muller for a fun morn­ing of cre­ative, re­cy­cled, sea­sonal craft­ing. Adults and chil­dren will learn how to make a win­ter won­der­land snow globe from a re­cy­cled jar. Par­tic­i­pants will be us­ing bak­ing clay to turn th­ese every­day items into a won­der­ful scene of a snow­man in a globe. The fin­ished prod­uct can make a unique hol­i­day gift. This pro­gram is for adults and fam­i­lies with chil­dren ages 5 and up. Ad­mis­sion for non-mem­bers is $7 for adults and $5 for chil­dren.
