Pine Bush tops Kingston, remains undefeated
The undefeated Pine Bush boys team used a dozen 3-point field goals to defeat Kingston High, 107-69.
Undefeated Pine Bush connected for a dozen 3-point field goals Thursday as it rolled to a 107- 69 victory over Kingston High in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I boys basketball game.
Marquis Johnson, who made seven 3-pointers, led the Bushmen with 31 points. Mason Memmellar scored 24, Brandon Powell had 20 and Brian Powell added 19 to help guide (10-0) Pine Bush.
Tre’Shon Rashada had 20 points, Chris Lacey scored 14 and Chris Wright had 11 to lead Kingston, which is 6-3 on the year.
Pine Bush jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and put the game away with a 3615 run in the third.

“They did exactly what we expected. We didn’t respond and they took it to us,” he said. “It snowballed. Now we have to see what we do about it, what we’re made of.”
The Tigers will play in the final game of a nonleague tripleheader at Kate Walton Field House on Saturday. The freshman and junior varsity boys teams play Troy at 1:30 and 3 p.m., respectively. The varsity takes on Bethlehem at 6 p.m.
