He was born in 1932 in Philadelphia, Pa. After serving in the Navy, David relocated to New York with IBM, where he worked as a computer programmer until retiring in 1987. David relocated to Holly Hill, Fla., in 2005.
David joins his wife, Roseanne; his daughters, Sharon Black and Maureen McCluskey; and his grandson, Jason Black, in Heaven.
His love and legend lives on in his five surviving children: Linda McCluskey, David McCluskey, Thomas McCluskey, Daniel McCluskey, Anne Celine Gynan; his 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey Black, Joshua McCluskey, Matthew McCluskey, Rachel Pape, Alexander McCluskey, Nicole Morrison, Ryan McCluskey, Daniel McCluskey, Erica Fowler, Nicholas McCluskey; and his eight great-grandchildren: Jason Black, Kayla Black, Nikoli Black, Aiden Pape, Kyler Pape, Brodie Fowler, Ruby Fowler, and Harper Morrison.
Cremation is being handled by the Neptune Society in Florida and his ashes are being scattered at sea. David’s family will celebrate his life in private.
