A pair of 1st-half goals car­ried Ron­d­out Val­ley’s un­beaten field hockey team to a 2-1 vic­tory over Pine Bush in MidHud­son Ath­letic League ac­tion Fri­day. Court­ney Smith made two saves in goal for Ron­d­out.

KY­SERIKE, N.Y. » A pair of first-half goals car­ried Ron­d­out Val­ley High’s un­beaten field hockey team to a 2-1 vic­tory over Pine Bush in Mid-Hud­son Ath­letic League ac­tion Fri­day.

Kier­nan McCol­gan scored 6:44 into the game on Lea Smith’s as­sist to put the (3-0 MHAL, 6-0 over­all) Gan­ders ahead. Court­ney Cof­fey’s unas­sisted tally with 10:01 left in the half made it 2-0.

Brit­tany Vasquez got Pine Bush on the board with 8:32 re­main­ing.

Ron­d­out out­shot Pine Bush 16-3 and had 10 penalty cor­ners, keep­ing Pine Bush goal­keeper Erin Van­der­mark busy. She had 13 saves.

Court­ney Smith made two saves in goal for the Gan­ders.

Kingston 6, Red Hook 0

At Red Hook, Brooke Gastin had two goals and an as­sist to lead the (30) Tigers.

Kelsey Fair­ley and Bridgie Lough­lin had a goal and an as­sist each, while Ri­ley Fitzger­ald and Meghan Gavis also scored goals for Kingston, which led 3-0 at half­time. Abby May­one had a an as­sist, while Analiese Amato and Lizzy Smith were in goal for the shutout. El­lenville 2, Pine Plains 0

At El­lenville, Ash­lyn Rivera and Anas­ta­sia Keener scored goals to lead the (3-0, 4-0) Devils.

Mia Un­verzagt and Sa­vanna James had as­sists, while Megan Eck­ert made 10 saves in the win.

Alice Wisler stopped eight shots in the loss for the (1-3) Bombers. On­te­ora 2, Rhinebeck 0

At Boiceville, Lola Mainieri and Corey Chun scored goals for the (1-2) Ea­gles.

Allison Kim added an as­sist for On­te­ora, which out­shot the (0-3) Hawks 22-1. Alana Wood made one save to pre­serve the shutout.

Rhinebeck goalie Grace John­son, mean­while, stopped 19 shots in the loss. Spack­enkill 1, We­bu­tuck 0

At Poughkeepsie, Cas­sidy Gent’s goal off a Brian Kan­thak as­sist off a cor­ner shot in the 28th minute gave Spack­enkill the up­per hand.

Liz Schowo­erer reg­is­tered 14 saves for the Spar­tans.
