KINGSTON >> Ju­lia R. “Judi” Tyler Swan­son, 84, of Ti­et­jen Av­enue, died Fri­day, Oct. 12, 2018, at Arch­care at Fern­cliff Nurs­ing Home, Rhinebeck.

Born June 5, 1934, in Kingston; she is the daugh­ter of the late Ken­neth Bur­ton and Donna M. (Swain) Tyler.

For many years Judi worked as a sales­per­son at Bob’s Auto in Lake Ka­trine. She was also em­ployed as a host­ess at the Mid-Town Chop House and Colo­nial Diner and in her ear­lier years worked at Can­field Sup­ply.

She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Michael R. Gre­gory of Sauger­ties, Gary A. Gre­gory and his wife Kathy of Catskill, and Pa­trick Swan­son of Kingston; and her brother, Stan­ley John Tyler of Kingston. 12 grand­chil­dren and many great-grand­chil­dren also sur­vive.

She is pre­de­ceased by her broth­ers and sis­ters: Mar­i­lyn North, James Tyler, Anne Tubby, Donna Wolf, Ken­neth Bur­ton Jr., and Kath­leen Tyler.

Fu­neral ar­range­ments are un­der the guid­ance of the Joseph V. Leahy Fu­neral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Av­enue, www.jvleathyfh.com Friends will be re­ceived at the fu­neral home on Mon­day from 6 to 8 p.m. A fu­neral home ser­vice will take place on Tues­day at 11 a.m. Burial will fol­low at Mt. Mar­ion Ceme­tery.
