Clif­ford J. Ho­tal­ing, 66, of Kingston

KINGSTON >> Clif­ford J. Ho­tal­ing, 66, of West O’Reilly St. died Tues­day, Oct. 9, 2018, in Kingston.

He was born July 12, 1952; a son of the late James L. and Ruth M. Shay Ho­tal­ing. Clif­ford worked as a stone ma­son most of his life and has many lo­cal ac­com­plish­ments that in­clude the stone work at Po­ets Walk in Rhinebeck. For many years, Clif­ford en­joyed bowl­ing and darts in the lo­cal leagues. He also en­joyed gar­den­ing and play­ing horse­shoes.

Clif­ford is sur­vived by a sis­ter, Ruth S. Ho­tal­ing of Lake Ka­trine; a brother, Lee Ho­tal­ing of Lake Ka­trine; and a son, James Free­man of Mis­souri. He is also sur­vived by six nieces and neph­ews: Jen­nifer Whis­pell, Pa­tri­cia Mar­tone, Al­bert Bodie, Alan Ho­tal­ing, Sarah Al­bright, and David Gor­don.

A sis­ter, Di­ane Ho­tal­ing, died Feb. 4, 2003. Visi­ta­tion for fam­ily and friends will be Wed­nes­day, Oct. 17, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ge­orge J. Moy­lan Fu­neral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. A cel­e­bra­tion of his life will be­gin at 7 p.m. Rev. Ar­lene Daw­ber will of­fi­ci­ate.

Cre­ma­tion was held pri­vately.
