A pair of first-half goals were all New Paltz High needed to beat Spack­enkill 2-1 Fri­day in a Mid-Hud­son Ath­letic League girls soc­cer match.

Nyan Cun­niff de­posited a feed from Anna McDuffie in the net in the 7th minute to give New Paltz a 1-0 lead and Cu­niff stuck the ball be­tween the posts off an Alyssa Hiesel as­sist in the 35th minute to give the (9-4, 8-3) Huguenots a 2-0 cush­ion that proved to be enough.

Gi­u­lia Mazarelli scored the Spar­tans only goal off a feed from Kait­lyn Kilpert in the 45th minute.

Vivi Kay fin­ished the evening with 10 saves while Madi­son McCall had seven for (4-8-1) Spack­enkill.

The Spar­tans out­shot the Huguenots 11-9, but New Paltz held a 7-1 ad­van­tage in cor­ners.

High­land 2, Ron­d­out 0

At High­land, Brooke Harris scored a goal and had an as­sist and Mor­gan Cal­i­mano added a goal as the Huskies blanked the Gan­ders.

Brenna Berean added an as­sist to (6-6, 4-5) High­land’s ef­fort.

An­gel­ica Silva and Lea Schlosser com­bined for six saves for the Huskies while Makayla Ryan regis­tered eight stops for Ron­d­out.

Rhinebeck 3, On­te­ora 2

At Rhinebeck, se­nior Caro­line Voorhis hit one di­rectly off a cor­ner kick that curled into the net and broke a 2-2 tie to give a Hawks squad who’ll lose eight se­nior play­ers the up­per hand on se­nior day.

With Rhinebeck trail­ing 1-0 Voorhis evened the tally at 1-1 from 20 yards out and Es­ther Mur­ray gave the Hawks a 2-1 lead, only for On­te­ora to find the net with equal­izer.

Sauger­ties 5, Marl­boro 1

At Sauger­ties, the Sawyers put up five goals in the first half as they beat the Dukes.

Molly Daggett scored off a Sa­van­nah ScarpaMeade as­sist, Ju­lian Quin­lan con­nected of a Mikaylin Wil­liams feed, Ash­lynn DeRonda found the net off a Maken­zie Be­low as­sist, Ilana Numssen de­posited one in the net unas­sisted and Mercy Dan­ner con­nected off Jil­lian Mur­phy to guide Sauger­ties.

The Sawyers (3-10) were lead­ing 2-0 in the first be­fore Me­gan O’Brien scored (0-12) Marl­boro’s lone goal of the match to make it 2-1, but Sauger­ties re­sponded with three unan­swered goals in the half to put it out of reach.
