Democrat wins town judgeship
Town residents have given Democrat Christopher Kraft a 4,770-3,002 win over Republican appointee William Myers to serve the final three years of a fouryear term as town justice.
Kraft, 56, is an attorney in private practice. He was on the Democratic, Working Families and Independence ballot lines.
Myers, 55, was appointed in March to fill the vacancy left by the death of Justice Dan Lamb.
Also on the ballot was incumbent Democratic Councilman Mike MacIsaac, 58, who received 2,121 in an uncontested race for the final year of a four-year Town Board seat that was previously held by Supervisor Fred Costello.
MacIsaac was also on the Working Families ballot line.
